Information about our quality materials

In our facilities, we use many types of materials and products for sign making. Because signs can be used in many places, a variety of plastics and metals were developed to specifically target each use. Below is an outline of high quality materials we use to produce signs of the highest caliber.

Materials for Sign Making

Acrylic

Very durable all-around plastic that can be used indoors and outdoors. Acrylic has a high gloss finish that comes in many color choices. We use it to make nameplates, hall direction signs, architectural signs, name badges, and conference signs. Other uses include free standing signs, restrooms, ADA, and commemorative plates.

Aluminum

Primarily used for lawn stakes and traffic signs, aluminum is great for the outdoors. It's protective coating ensures years of durability without rust. It's light while retaining a rigid form. This metal comes in several colors.

Bronze

A distinctive, high quality metal, bronze is the ideal choice for building signs, commemorative plaques, donor boards, and awards. This classic metal is cast solid for sturdiness and has a beautiful antiquated tone that lasts for generations.

Corrugated Plastic

This lightweight material comes in many colors and great for short-term indoor and outdoor use. Corrugated plastic can be put out on the golf course as a sponsorship sign, used as temporary real estate signs, conference poster boards, and sales presentations.

Komatex (Foam PVC)

A versatile plastic that is lightweight and usable indoors and outdoors for a limited time. It is not brittle like acrylic, so it won't crack or break as easily. Komatex comes in a variety of colors. Its matte finish makes the message easy to read. Use it for sales meetings, conferences, store counters, and other places where a message is valuable.

Magnetic

Use this versatile material to advertise your business/organization on your vehicle without a permenant installation. With proper maintenance, can be used for long periods of time. Printable in digital full color and resistant to the elements.

Polystyrene

A very strong, durable plastic that makes a great cost-effective material for building signs, cashier counters, menus and trade show signs. Comes only in white and can be silkscreened with any number of colors.

Vinyl

A strong, felxible material that is great for banners. Printable using our full-color digital printers. Also available in different background colors. Hangable, vinyl banners can be used indoors and outdoors. Great for grand openings, special events, markets and fairs, promotions, and informational messages.

Wood & Composite Materials

Durable and rigid, great for large signs used in real estate and architecture. Composite materials are available in many colors and natural wood is paintable to match any design. Different types of wood are available and used with various metals or composites depending on the scope of the project.
