Q: What is your normal production time?

It takes about 5 -10 working days from receipt of order with camera ready artwork (if applicable) and credit approval.


Q: Are rush orders available?

24 hour rush service (not including shipping time) is available on many items. A 10% service charge will be added to the invoice total. Please email or call customer service regarding product availability or any questions.


Q: How do you ship the products?

We use major carriers like UPS, FedEx, and Common Carriers on larger orders. F.O.B. New Jersey. There is a $2.00 charge in addition to actual shipping cost for drop shipments.


Q: What credit cards do you accept?

We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.


Q: Can I cancel my order?

Yes, however please be advised that cancellations are subject to all incurred costs of the order.


Q: Can I establish credit with Picture-it Awards Inc.?

Yes, you need to be approved first. Please fill out our printable application. With approval, you have 30 net days to make the payment.


Q: Is there a charge for paper proofs?

No, we do not charge for paper proofs.


Q: Is there a return policy?

An authorization number from Picture-It customer service department is required before return of merchandise. All returns must be made within 30 days after the shipping date.


Q: Do you take international orders?

Yes, letters of credit or wire transfer of payment must be sent prior to shipment. C.I.F. New Jersey, U.S.A.


Q: What is "camera ready artwork"?

Camera ready artwork is a high resolution image of your logo or message. Internet pictures and inkjet printed photos are not high resolution images. In order for your artwork to pass as camera ready, it must meet the following criteria:

  • Clean black and white line art on glossy photographic (stat) paper
  • 600 dpi or better laser printed at 150-200 final size
  • One piece of art for each color with registration marks for color separation
  • Digital art on disk or by email attachment(per specs below)
  • Art charge rate(see price sheet)

Q: Can I submit a digital image of my artwork?

Yes, we accept digital artwork when it meets the following requirements:

Media Requirements:

  • Adobe Photoshop format (7 or lower).
  • Corel Draw format (10 or lower).
  • PC formatted 3.5" floppy disk or Compact Disc (one floppy for each order please).


    File Formats:

  • TIFF or EPS formats of 1 bit black and white line art at 1200 dpi final output size at 100%.
  • Saved as PC files(windows).
  • EPS files must be in black and white. Include any unusual screen or printer fonts.


    Color Separation:

  • A separate TIFF or EPS file in black and white and labeled for each color.
  • Include a printed composite version with color break down and any other needed information.


    Type, Ruled Lines, and Halftones:

  • Fine serifs and script fonts under 8 pts. may not reproduce(bold san serif fonts recommended under 8 pts.).
  • No type accepted under 4 pts.
  • Ruled lines and outlines should be over 1 pt.
  • Halftones must be screened at 65 lines per inch at 100% output.
  • Tints should be between 25%-75%.


    Additional notes:

  • Always keep a copy of files, do not send in original copy.
  • Disks will be returned only upon request.
  • Any file not meeting these requirements will not be considered camera ready artwork.
